RuPaul's Drag Race Season 5 beauty Honey Mahogany is hosting a children's story hour at a public library this weekend! (March 12)
The library is officially OPEN for the children of San Francisco thanks to Radar Productions!
The third and final Drag Queen Story Hour will be taking place with Honey Mahogany at Eureka Valley / Harvey Milk Memorial Library on Saturday March 12 from 12pm!
Plus there will be face painting AND cookies! What could be better?
"I think generally queers are not mixed with kids—especially drag queens," Radar Executive Director Juliana Delgado Lopera said. "It's really beautiful to have drag queens painting children's faces and telling stories. It's disrupting that idea that queers can't mix with kids."
She added: "It's a kid's world to be very imaginative. If children were allowed they would dress up every day. I don't think they're thinking about gender assumptions. They're just seeing the drag queens as other people who are being imaginative."
Yes, gawd! Drag bringing families together.
